    Exclamation Unable to update Mandrake 10.0


    When i try to update my system it gives me this error: -

    Okay. First of all a slight confession: I hope no-one else is reading this . One of my weak areas with this distro is using urpmi. Well, using it isn't too hard, but when it goes wrong it can be tough to fix.

    I would suggest using easy urpmi. Oddly, there now seems to be one just for Mandriva users. Sample it here: http://www.mandrivausers.org/easyurpmi/index.php

    The idea is to follow easy urpmi step by step and then copy and paste the output into a terminal. Your problem might be that the directory structure of the ftp server you are accessing for updates has changed, or down for maintainence, or ... the list is endless.
