I've installed Mandriva 2006 on a IBM thinkpad I series laptop. I am having a problem with the Keyboard. The numberpad is combined with the letterkeys on the keyboard and when I type, the computer registers the numbers instead of the letters on the keys that are combined. This occurs regardless of if the num lock is on or not. Any suggestions? I also can't log in because of the problem as my username becomes filled with numbers as well as root which becomes r66t.
