kde or gnome '' that is the question?''
as long as you load gnome in when you install it can be set to default to gnome and will automatically if you untick kde in your install. its quite easy to setup gnome as default anyway and you can use autologin to default to gnome and you will no longer have to worry.. check out quick install guide as it explains it a little and the man pages will cover the rest.. dont load kde in the first place and it wont exist. i use both at different times and have no problems with either but find kde easier to configure and looks plain but gnome works ok too..
good luck and enjoy!
