Hi,
I'm new in the wonderful word of Linux. I have installed Linux Mandrake 10.1. I also have installed the kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdk. Also my Graphics drivers but that's another things. The problem is:
I'm unable to see my DVD-Rom/Writer !
In the "Materials", the drive isn't listed, the only drives I have in /mnt/ is my two Hard Drive containing Windows XP, no DVD-Rom drive here !
So my question is: How I can say to Mandrake that I have that DVD-Rom/Writer !
The brand of my DVD is AOpen and its a DVD+-/RW Burner 16x, if this can help.
EDIT: Forgot to tell, I've installed Mandrake from a Hard Drive containing the Installation DVD. (One of the two Hard Drive I can see, the other one is XP as I already said).
Any suggestions ?
