Where can i find these drivers and how do i go about installing them on mandriva linux?

you need to know the chipset in order to install drivers. mine is an atheros which is the madwifi driver. you might also have to use ndiswrapper and use the windows' drivers in order to get it up and going.

re D-link dwl-g650 drivers
i get error messages when using the new connection when trying to install the drivers for D-link dwl-g650 drivers either unable to find ndiswrapper interface and no device supporting the ..... ndiswrapper driver is present!
Can anyone help me on this?

what do these commands return?

When i type the commands
ndiswrapper -1 and iwconfig all i get is a command not found message!
can anyone help me here?

it is ndiswrapper -l (i.e. lowercase "L"). and did you run the commands as root?
