Linux Setup Stops Working
Hello,
Today, I solved a problem I had with a monitor that couldent start setup because it was "out of range" so I switch to a more beefy monitor and its no longer out of range. So setup starts fine, detects USB's and such then it gets to a blank screen and says, "Proceeding, please wait" I gave it about 5 minutes, (maybe I should show more patience?
) and it dident do anything. I'm just not having much luck here! Possibly it dident burn well to the CD?
Welp, if anyone can help me out here I would greatly appreciate it!
I think I may try it again and give it some more time..
If that doesent work maybe I should try to burn the ISO again..

Well before burning it again, check it against it's md5 file to make sure the iso is not corrupt in any way.

First download the md5 file for the iso that you downloaded these can be found in the same place that you got the iso file. Put both in the same directory and then type this at the command line.
md5sum -c filename.md5
You can check out this Knoppix wiki and click on the link that says "What are these strange MD5 files that accompany the ISO CD images"
