Uninstalling program!!!!
I'm using Mandriva Linux 2006 and now i'm running out of space on my system. I need to remove some of the unused program.
Izzit possible that we uninstall the program that is compile from source, Not RPM, YUM, nor Debian package !!!!

Generally programs offer a target to "uninstall" in their Makefile. Try unzipping the sourcecode that you originally downloaded and running make uninstall while logged in as root.

Before you uninstall apps, clean up your system a bit. Delete some log files in /var/log. They can be trashed after a certain amount of time, unless you are running a server. Then clean your urpmi cache (urpmi --clean). Now check how much free space you have. It will probably be enough free space for a long time.
