I have been playing with Linux alot lately checking out a few different distros.
I find a common issue during install is when it hits initializing USB devices it freezes up. If I shutdown and remove devices and then restart it will install perfectly. this was most notable in SuSE 10 and Madriva. Once installed i could plug the devices back in and they would work, in SuSE but so far in Mandriva it just stops at detecting new devices and hangs.

any ideas? my mouse is logitech MX510 usb mouse
