System Clock runs at approximately double speed
I'm new to Linux and I have just installed Mandriva One. So far it's great, except for a possible bug with the system clock. The seconds tick by at about double speed, causing the clock to get very far ahead of the actual time very quickly. I've been researching this for days now and I can't seem to find a fix. Network Time Protocol only helps when I manually tell Linux to adjust the date/time. I tried setting up Lilo bootloader to force no APIC & force no local APIC, but then my keyboard and mouse don't work (ie i would have to unplug them from my kvm and hook them directly to the back of the box) or Linux wouldn't boot, respectively. If anybody has any ideas or has encountered the same problem I would appreciate some insight. This one little issue is driving me nuts!!! Thanks
