Verbose mode
i'am using mandrake 10.1 in dual boot with XP in my Pentuim4 desktop. When I get out from linux, the computer remains in verbose mode, and did not switch off completely. Can one help me how to do configure my computer so it can switched off completely and explain me what does mean verbose mode.
Thanks in advance

welcome

verbose mode means that it's giving a lot of textual output of things that are going on.
So that means all warning messages/errors and non-errors will come on your screen.
Probably there will be more usefull warning messages outputted as well
What do you do to 'get out out linux'?Now what? You have Linux installed and running. The GUI is working fine, but you are getting tired of changing your desktop themes. You keep seeing this "terminal" thing. Don't worry, they'll show you what to do @
