flash player help!! firefox
i know this has probably been asked time and time again.
but how do u get flah working on firefox. im on mandriva 2006 free
so far i got to a site and it says i need the plugin so i click on install plugin.
then it searches and says i need flash 7.0.2 so i click next and it says manual install i go to the site and download the flash player that says its compatible with firefox. when i download it theres no install executable file what do i do?
its really annoying me cuz i can never install stuff on mandriva it never has a file i can open make it install. ive tried rpms but they only have flash version 4 i install that and it still doesnt work
PLEASE HELP!!!

install the official RPM for Mandriva from here

hey thanx that link worked and i got flash going.
do u have any links like that for java software. i went to the site, downloaded it and installed the rpm version. i went to a website with java on it and it couldnt be displayed. i downloaded another version and i installed it thru the terminal. tried the site again and it still didnt load.
got any ideas?
