Hi!

I am a new user of linux and I wanted to use mandriva
The problem is my sound card which is a HDA on ULI 1573 southbridge
When I try to boot from the mandriva one CD the computer freezes when Starting ALSA version 1.0.9b

I managed to install Mandriva after I disabled the sound card from BIOS but I cannot make it work.

Any ideas?
