    Unhappy Same problem here

I face the same problem here... I just installed a new sata hd drive on nforce4 chipset with silicon raid controler. There is no /dev/ that seems to be identified (neither hdxx or sdxx). Running hardrake2 shows that it recognises my serial ata controller.

Any help would be much appreciated.
