I am a windows systems builder. I build and program windows systems (Win 2000, XP Pro, etc.) to automate home systems. I make smart homes smart.

I have been using windows since it came out.

I have never used Linux until yesterday. I have not stopped using it since yesterday. I downloaded Mandriva One and have been messing with it all through the night until now.

I need a lesson. I want to start learning Linux properly from the start. Who can tell me where to get FREE lessons for the computer literate Linux beginner?

You are your own best teacher. Follow Techiemoe's advice and follow the links. Tinker around and when you get stumped, post your questions to the forums. One last thing, please don't post yourself as a noob, newbie, or any other variant of the term. It gets rather annoying at times and eventually, other forum users tend to ignore your posts. Try to research your own answers and once you meet a dead end then post your question. There are several well informed users on this forum who will be more than helpful to you.
