GNOME Desktop- Mandriva 2006
I am a total Linux Newbie, and i have heard things about a GNOME Desktop.
Could someone please explain to me how to switch from my KDE Desktop to a GNOME desktop?
If it's not already installed, install it via RPM/urpmi. Exit your current session, and then the login manager should present you the choice of which desktop environment you would like to use with the "Session" drop down list. Select Gnome and log in.Flies of a particular kind, i.e. time-flies, are fond of an arrow.
