Hello ,I have a Swann Speed Demon external modem and have tried it with various distro's . When I connect using kppp or Kinternet the connection speed is 14kbps with an average of 4.8 to 5 kbps .Is this what I should be expecting from an external dialup modem or have I got the configuration wrong somewhere, thanks.
