incoming connections
I have Mandriva 2006 installed on an HP DL140 with a BCM5721 ethernet card. The server has a public IP (no router) and can access the internet. The firewall is turned off (iptables -F) and no incoming connections are being allowed. Specifically VNC and ping. I have also tried enabling echo request (ping) through the Mandriva firewall, and it still does not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
