    Opening *exe files in Linux

I'm new to this OS. I was interested in how to open executable files? I usually get hit with "Open with.." and I have no clue as to "with what?" I've been a long-time Windows user, so bare with me.

    Hi !

you can't execute .exe files in Linux. you can use Wine or Cedega for running windows application in Linux.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Thanks...last time I ran into this on Windows...it was because of a virus and I couldn't run anything!

Could you elaborate on how to run saved programs...? I am on the Wine site and I'll check out the latter soon. Reason being is that its somewhat faster...

EDIT: I was able to figure this one out on my own. It's not so bad once you take the time to read the tutorials (as a newbie that is).
