When I try to boot up, there is an error message that user root:root does not exist.
When I check with knoppix "/etc/passwd" is deleted.
I cannot login using root ...

Creating Root Account Using Rescue CD.
When I try to boot up, there is an error message that user root:root does not exist.
When I check with knoppix "/etc/passwd" is deleted.
I cannot login using root account.
I can boot using Mandrake 10.0 rescue CD. Is it possible to create new root account using rescue CD?
