mounting mandriva iso w/ win xp
I'm a newbie & I'm trying to mount the mandriva iso images to cd with win xp & roxio 6. I can get the cd's to boot but have to run "text" to start the install. no matter how I burn the cd I always get "version file missing" warning. which is fine in text mode, however it always locks up when I try to format the HD. Any info would be great!

If so then if you have only downloaded them once and tried burning them several times this seems to point to you having corrupted .iso files.
You should be able to check that they are not corrupt but I am not sure what software you need to do it from Windows.
