Hello
I am a Linux beginner and using a remote dedicated box running Mandriva,to install my php application ,I need first to copy my files using ftp and I am stuck
- I have downloaded proftpd,then urpmi
- if I just type proftpd ,I have error messages :
getaddrinfo 'mysite' name or service not known
no valid server configured etc...

I have updated proftpd.conf ? but not sure which lines it relates to
