i have installed mandriva 2006 .... the problem is that i am not able to ssh my machine from another machine whereas i am able to do vice-versa

plz suggest what to do so that i can ssh my machine from somewhere else

Have you checked your firewall settings to make sure that ssh connections are allowed?

yes ... it says everything is allowed to connect to .....
now what to do

what does it says... the output in your screen..
try checking also /etc/ssh/sshd_config
