    Problems installing Mandriva Free '07

    I get this message "cannot mount compressed image".
    I get this message on both MS Virtual PC and actually putting the

    upgrading

    I am going to be upgrading from 2006 to 2007 later today. I haven't tried my disks yet but I will stop back and let you know what happens. - It sounds like you have a corrupted img on the disk. I know I had problems trying to get 2006 to work under VMware so you might want to try installing native first.

    I found out the problem . it was a corrupt cd. Don't worry I got a working DVD.
