Net connecting login script/program for Aksh broadband
Hi,
I have Mandriva 9.0 installed on my machine (Celeron 400, with network card).
Initially I had Windows2000 installed on the same machine and I had network connectivity via Aksh Broadband.
I had virus problems due to which I shifted to Linux.
But I could not identify the package with which I can login into the broadband network.
Can anybody guide me through this?
I am ready for looking into the code of any package to get the thing running.
Kindly help.
Thanks and regards,
Nitin Sharma

did Aksh Broadband provide any software package for setting up connection for Windows machine? you should them if they provide package for Linux machine.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Hi,
That was very intutive and I had done that.
They simply disowned the Linux support.
But thanks to our linux users and usergroup sites.
There are very few things that have not been "tried, explored and details of the inferences shared".
The solution is to use 24onlineclient-x86-1[1].0.tar.gz from the net.
This is available over sourceforge as cyberroam project.
Hats off to Open Source.
I am zooming in the net using linux.
