Disk recovery how to
Hi Accidentally deleted all files in a very important folder using rm -fr * . I have lost a weeks worth of data because of my mistake . Ill be very grateful if you can tell me how I could recover this data thanks in advanced. (Currently I am on windows and not using any Linux drives

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't think there is an easy (cheap) way to recover files you've deleted like this. I'm sure there are data recovery companies who will be able to get your data back, but they will be VERY expensive.

Hi
Found this open source tool http://e2undel.sourceforge.net/recovery-howto.html I am trying to installing it after booting with Mandriva One live CD on a RAM Disk. I have to recover more than one file just tell me what you think of this
