Won't boot
I used Nero 7 Premium edition to burn the single Mandriva free 2007 gnome edition.
I've burnt the full free dvd one as well.
Both linger at the startup point where it says boot from cd:
it hangs there for a while, and then ignores it and keeps going.
It's supposed to be bootable and it's not working.
I've wasted 10 or so dvd and cd discs.
I'm running out of options.
My burn speed was always 4x.
My ultimate goal is running a dual boot with Mandriva 2007 and Windows XP home edition.
Thank you for your help.
Much appreciated.

Have you checked that the ISO md5sum matched the one shown on Madriva's page??

Process the ISO with this program http://www.irnis.net/gloss/md5sum-windows.shtml
Compare the output with the one shown in Mandriva's webpagePut your hand in an oven for a minute and it will be like an hour, sit beside a beautiful woman for an hour and it will be like a minute, that is relativity. --Albert Einstein
