    installing programs on mandrake 10

    how do you extract the files to install programs? also what is a good brower and homepage with good email? i'm new to linux and i'm just trying to get the hang of everything thanks for the help

    Just use firefox as a browser. Go to the tutorials section of the forums here and read the "Installing Software" Sticky:
