I need more info to go on. Can you tell me what it says right before it panics? Have you installed any software recently, if so boot into rescue mode and remove it. If you can see what process it is trying to start before it panic's you can boot into rescue mode and stop them by using chkconfig.

My Linux box booted up fine first time tonight, but kept freezing - neccessitating the need to press the reset button several times in a row.
The bizarre thing is - my dual-booting main PC downstairs is freezing now also.
Could this be some kind of Viral affliction?
The upstairs Linux box is running Mandriva 2007 and the main PC downstairs (this one) is dual booting XP and Mandriva 2006.Korean food is great - it's the dog's bollocks!
