    I just tried to urpmi glib and it returned already installed.

    create a symlink on Desktop or add an entry in Menu.
    right click anywhere on Desktop and click on 'Create New' -- 'Link to Application'. add Full path of 'firefox-bin' file in Application -> Command Box.
