updating firefox to firefox 2.0

Hi! i've recently installed mandriva on my pc. i want to update the existing firefox in it to firefox 2.0. For that i downloaded the "linux format" firefox 2.0 but it isn't working.
can any one suggest the write way to tackle this problem??

FireFox 2 is a bit buggy. it works fine for some and buggy for others. keep both versions.
right click on downloaded file and click on 'Extract here'. this will create a folder 'firefox'. look for a file 'firefox' in it and double click on it. FireFox 2 will pop up.
if it works fine, create a link of this file in Menu or on Desktop.
