Problem with wireless
Hi
I just installed Mandriva One free kde on my Acer 5610. When I use the "Mandriva Linux Control Center -> Network & Internet -> Wireless connection" tool it detects my card and loads the drivers but the I get this error message "Unable to find network interface for selected device (using ipw3945 driver)." Any suggestions?

I have the same problem.
The ipw3945d daemon is not automatically starting at boot.
To start it manually:
open a terminal and become root
(type "su" enter your root password when prompted)
cd /usr/sbin/ or cd /sbin depending on where you installed ipw3945d.
then type "ipw3945d"
you should be able to configure and start your wireless after doing this.
I will post again when I find out how to auto start the daemon at boot.
until then you will have to manually start it with every boot.
