    good call!
    wrong problem.

    no firewalls.
    yet.
    two routers, daisy chained; one cable modem.
    i can see the internet using the IP addresses, not the DNS name resolving though.(i could probably post on here if I found the IP addy of this website...)

    i know that the problem lies in the resovle.conf file, i just dont know what DNS search/nameservers to add to this file.
    what do other users of Workstations enter into this file(assuming that they are going to a router and not another LBox)

    GOOD NEWS!
    i have resolve.conf fixed and am now able to search the web with HostNames!
    I didnt realize that it was a local issue as far as putting the numbers in.

    yeah!

    so now i've just to start looking for goddies to load my LBox up with!!
