Printer setup issue & Flash Player installation
Hi,
I am trying to set up my printer, I couldn't do it during the original installation as there was a fault in the printer's power supply but as I've now fixed that I want to set the printer up.
When I go to the Mandriva Control Center and take to option to set up a new printer, the printer is detected and I'm asked to I want to enable printing on it, I answer YES and it asks me to wait, then I get an error saying it can't install the CUPS printing system. I tried updating CUPS using URPMI but I still get the same error. The system sees the printer because it appears in the detected list and the printer head moves back & forth when I start the detection. Can anyone suggest what to try next?
Also, I've downloaded FlashMedia player to my home folder and the instructions say to navigate to 'that directory' from the command line. I'm sorry but I'm useless with the command line, what to I type as SU to get to that directory and start the installation?
Thanks,
