I have videocard Radeon X1600. I had some problems after I've installed Linux Mandriva 2007. Monitor is black and I couldn't do something with it. What could you advise? What have I to do with it?

It configure driver Radeon(vesa). I tested it and it make message about troubles. I've decided to choose driver by myself. So, I had chosen Radeon(fgclx) - smth like that. Was it right? What do you think?
