fortran compiler in mandriva 2006
HI dear experts,
I was using Mandrake version 10 earlier. I was using Amber to run my modeling runs. Now I installed mandriva 2006 powerpack.
I tried to run fortran compiler but it seems doesn't work.
When I type g77 or f77.. it returnes no command..
How am I install g77 or f77 inorder for me to install Amber?
Can anyone there help me..
Thank you

The package you need to install is gcc-gfortran. Install it using rpmdrake which is the software module in the Mandriva Control Center. Alternatively you can do
Code:#urpmi gcc-gfortran
