IPW3945ABG driver
So I was trying to use WiFi on linux and it gives the error:Unable to find network interface for selected device (using ipw3945) driver. I did boot into windows to verify that the WiFi nic was indeed a 3945abg card.
This is the driver that came wth mandriva for said card. Does anyone have an idea what could do this?

Check out the "mandriva" section of this page :

Mandriva Linux 2007 Beta
kernel:2.6.17-4mdvlegacy
--update--
Thanks! I got the NIC working, kismet too. Last time I used source files for the wrong driver plus I need the kernel source for those X_X add in a misconfigured gcc and you get a big headache . I found .rpm files with the correct drivers today and even got kismet working.
