    To read the contents try opening Konqueror and typing /dev/hdc in the toolbar at the top ...
    Said /dev/hdc is a file not a folder...

    You're right, when I run root konsole I can view the discs contents. So how do i set Kde up so I can view the disc and write cds on my user account?
