    Exclamation How do i get Java and flash on Mandriva 2007


    Hello im new here and i have been on mandriva for about a week or two but i have a major problem. how do i get java to work on mandriva 2007 plz help. Also for flash how do i get it to work

    I'm not familiar with Mandriva's package management, but you can get both straight from the tap

    http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

    You probably want the Java Runtime Environment instead of the Development Kit. If Mandriva uses rpms you can download that, or else use the self-extracting installer.

    For flash, even though its in beta, use the new flash 9 player. It is light years better than the old flash 7 player.
