Desktop Virtual Resolution
Hi
I know that this question has been asked several times on this forum but when I tried these solutions they did not work for me. So I ask the question again (I could have continued that thread but it is so old that people might have turned their notifications off it)
Problem:
I am running Mandrake 10.0 on Intel 845G motherboard with no external graphics card attached. I opted for a 1024x768 resolution for LG Studioworks 500G monitor. The problem is that it shows virtual resolution (I have to scroll through my screen to see all of it!). I tried xorgconfig (xorg posted below) and had set the resolution to 1024x768 but now it shows 800x600 only and does not go to 1024x768 unless I rerun the setup with drakconf and I get to scrolling screens again.
/etc/X11/xorg.conf: (Comments deliberately deleted for posting purposes)
