    mustek 1200 ub plus on mandriva 2007

    i managed to get my scanner (mustek 1200 ub plus ) to run on xandros 4 and thought id try it on my mandriva box
    but when i try to copy and paste the sbfw.usb file to the usr/share/sane folder it says access denied could not weite to /usr/share/sane/sbfw.usb

    Hi in2media,

    I am fairly new to all this myself, but have you checked to ensure that not only root has read & write access to /usr/share/sane/sbfw.usb.
