Hi,
I am new to linux. I didnt install the firefox 1.5 coming with the mandriva dvd. I downloaded firefox 2.0 tarball and untared it. But whenever I run firefox, it starts as if I am running it for the first time. It loads the mozilla webpages and deletes all the bookmarks I've added in the last session.

Do I need to do any installation? The mozilla site says that I can run the firefox executable without any installation. Do I need any tweak in the any configuration files?
