Installing Mandriva 2007 from ISO image file
Hi,
I'm a newbie and I want to install Mandriva 2007 from a ISO image that i have.
I have win xp installed on my PC and want to install Madriva in a second partition. I suposse i can boot from a USB port and install the OS from the ISO file.
Can you help me?
Where can i find the boot files?

Mandriva from ISO
You must put the ISO file to a CD/DVD and boot your computer with it. Then follow instructions.
Forget your "USB" stuff.

If you have a CD burning device, it's easiest to burn the image to a blank CD, then set your BIOS to boot from the CD drive, put the CD in the drive, and reboot your machine. That should start the installation process.
Keep in mind that the ISO file must be burned as an image. Simply copying the file to the CD won't work.

Right!
I know that i can burn the dvd and boot from it but i want to know if i can do the usb boot and install from the .iso file...
