    Dvd problerm

    At an rpm based system ( pardus ) my a friend has a dvd problem at his rpm based sistem. İts called Pardus and developing at turkey. He also use at same machine cdrom . His cddrom correctly working but linux doesn't see dvdrw. May be it cdrom dvd crashing problem. May be cdrom block to dvd. I don't know.

    Can we solve this by loading some module or fstab configuration. Please help

    do these commands display same info?
    whats the output of "ls /dev/hd*" ?
