    Question curious/PLF

    what exactly is PLF?
any opinions on this org and the softs offered?

My understanding is it provides software/codecs that most distros don't include because of legal issues (for example, libdvdcss). Most distros have such a thing that streamline downloading of such software/codes, so they are not that special (although perahps more creative).

Yep - the PLF consists of a lot of mirror sites, and they make free and 'non-free' software available through those. Some of the 'non-free' stuff is support for hardware: for e.g. video cards. At least, that's how I understand it.

They're okay, but I haven't used their service that much. Read this for more information.
