Jeremy, once that's done I'm not sure what I have to do? Will it be added to sources in the gui software manager or should I use urpmi from command line?

You should be able to do either.
If you already have updates, contrib and plf defined (besides the 4 cd's), and they aren't working, just remove them and start over as you can't write over them and they're rather difficult to edit (b/c it still looks for the old hdlist.cz).
Also, I had some problems with the Mandrake mirrors. At the begining of last month, they did something that really messed things up (removed mirrors for 9.2 and 10 CE for the 10.0 release or something like that). I think that problem is solved, but if you have problems try a different mirror. What I did was choose three different mirrors (one for updates, plf and contrib). Only the contrib failed, so I used the same updates mirror for it instead.
Good luck. urpmi is truely a great program.
