Am I doing this alright? Why is it so slow.
Almost done! Only 3hrs to go. Then i'll burn the image and try to install it. Fingers crossed, third time lucky.
P.S. if this doesn't work i'll probably give up on linux all together.

I will check it. BUT lets say it tells me there is a problem what do I do about it? And does anyone know of anywhere or anyone who can give me instructions on this.
OK im burning the 4 CD's now, im burning them DVD not CD though.
Another problem: it keeps getting to the end of partitioning then it comes up about some error saying it cannot mount it, or something like that.
Why not just try a LiveCD first and see if you like it ? Mandriva One is just that."To express yourself in freedom, you must die to everything of yesterday. From the 'old', you derive security; from the 'new', you gain the flow."
AN ERROR OCCURRED
Error opening RPM database: cannot open
packages database in /mnt/var/lib/rpm
Is this something to do with my computer because this is the third version of mandriva 2007 free i've downloaded, and this version i downloaded from their own website. WHY?
Maybe, not sure. Anyways i'll be sure to try everything.
