    Mandriva One

I am new to linux and downloaded mandriva one installed it and the os works fine. I am having a problem getting online, it tells me what i need and i downloaded what i need (so far) but I dont know how to apply it. I have it on my flash drive when i open linux but it wont detect where its at (but i take that in consideration). Can someone tell me how to apply it or will linux apply if in some way.

Need more info, are you trying to get wireless going,if so what wireless adapter are you using?
If you have downloaded the driver onto a USB stick you need to mount the stick to access the files....right click the USB icon and select 'mount'.
Post back with your laptop model, wireless adapter and driver details and whether you wish to use wep or wpa encryption.
Don't worry wireless and Linux isn't hard work these days! I use Mandriva one on my laptop and it's never failed to connect straight away at boot.....unlike M$ Xp which was really unreliable.
