I have a PC running MS XP with a printer attached. I have connected my laptop which is running Mandriva Free 2006 to my PC via a cable. I can ping both from my PC to my laptop and vice versa. I am trying to add the printer to my laptop through the network, but to no avail. I have added all the printer options and it has added the printer to my list of printers in Mandriva but when i print a test page nothing happens. What am I missing. I have only Workstation packets installed. Do I need something else?
