    mandriva install help

    i have a computer that used to have windows 98 on it but was so loaded with junk it wouldnt start. We have downloaded the mandriva live cd and burned it to a cd. It works because we tried it on another computer. The used-to-be windows 98 machine has been reformatted. We have a windows 98 bootdisk and can access a DOS prompt but cannot figure out how to boot are live disk

    Does your BIOS support booting from CD?
    If yes, then insert your mandriva CD and restart the computer and boot from the CD
