3D Desktop, Whered it go!!
Hi,
ive come back linux mandriva after a break......
the last version i had used a beautiful 3D desktop (stretching, squashing, bouncing windows... kicks vistas ass)
having a look at videos of mandriva 2007, all this is supposed to be fully integrated now as opposed to add on.
under configure i have the 3D icon and started this up after installing drivers for my nvidia card.
if i use the AIGLX option there is no effect on my desktop
if I use the Xgl option i get a white square then a full white screen?
i run KDE
my system is fully up to date
does any one have any ideas?

Is Mandriva using Beryl? I found that by setting the option with beryl manager to use 'Copy' as the rendering path fixed this problem. You should be able to see it on the beryl-manager right-click menu.
